What is BIM?

One of the leaders in delivering top notch CAD programs describes it as such: "Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure." What is a BIM Technician?
A BIM Technican is/are "... technicians use computer technology to pull all the information about a construction project into one design" [goconstruct]

Some aspects that such a technician undertakes are as follows:
- Co-ordinate with designer, architects, engineers concerning their concepts and create necessary technical drawings
- Print and organize drawings into necessary sets for submitting to either client, relevant local approval authorities or both
- Perfom site visits
- Create 3D models from concepts derived from designer, architects, and engineers
What does the term MSP stand for?

Under our Technology Solutions, you will see the term "MSP" being used.
